More About Me

I grew up in a lower middle class family that shifted to full on lower class as both of my parents suffered injuries and had trouble working. My parents relied upon their children to support them in their elder years and living a life of dependence terrified me. It motivated me to ensure that I would have enough money in my elder years to support myself. I did not want to be a burden on any one. Neither of my parents had much formal education but they instilled the importance of education in their children. I worked my way through school paying my own way.

I have also faced a lot of adversity in my life and the biggest lesson I have learned from all of it is that swift recovery and not dwelling on the problem or the past leads to greater success. Don't focus on how people may have "wronged" you. Focus on the next good things that you will develop in your life. I also believe that any good you do for others will come back to you in one way or another. As a result of that belief and practice, I often find myself living my life in service to others.
